This symposium was organized to explore new PPP models linking the sleep industry, healing industry, and urban agriculture, and based on this, to build a healing industry ecosystem and revitalize regional economies. Key corporate representatives, policymakers, and experts from relevant fields attended the event to engage in in-depth discussions.
SYP participated in the symposium as a session presenter. Kevin Hong, CEO of SYP, analyzed the business ecosystem of the sleep and healing industries and presented specific business model design directions to secure sustainable revenue structures and expand private sector participation.
The event was attended by policymakers, including representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), and partner companies such as Ceragem. Through a comprehensive panel discussion, participants reached a consensus on the need to integrate individual industries through public-private partnerships to achieve social goals—such as boosting regional economies and countering regional population decline—while establishing institutional frameworks and expanding public demonstration projects.
Moving forward, SYP plans to leverage its specialized technology commercialization capabilities to support various industry sectors and public-private partnerships, ensuring that domestic technologies and industrial ecosystems establish viable business models and contribute to the growth of a recovery economy.
