On October 8, SYP, in partnership with the INNOPOLIS Foundation Daedeok Headquarters and Gimhae Innopolis, hosted the 'INNOPOLIS-Healthcare IR Day' at the Kikai Shinko Kaikan in Tokyo to facilitate foreign investment and expand regional networks.

The event brought together Japanese venture capital firms, corporate venture capitals (CVCs), pharmaceutical BD leaders, and healthcare representatives, including Mizuho Securities, Kyocera, ANA Holdings, Leave a Nest Capital, Servcorp, GTS Advisory, and the Japan Industrial Location Center.

Five DeepTech startups—Wellentech, REWALK, CUePEAKBio, MEDINO, and Target Link Therapeutics—delivered IR pitches followed by comprehensive Q&A sessions. The agenda also featured a special presentation by Synapse International on 'Japan Market Entry & PoC Strategies', followed by a tailored 1-on-1 networking roundtable between founders and Japanese investors.

Notably, FUJIFILM Life Science Strategic Business Division expressed interest during the outreach process, leading to scheduled in-person meetings with its Korea-based CDMO representative. Building on these connections, SYP aims to further formalize deal-sourcing and co-investment channels with Japanese institutional investors.
