The interview was conducted after finding solutions to technical difficulties in medical devices and bio companies, and the full text of the interview is as follows.

On the 2nd, the first meeting of the Science Belt Cheongju Functional District Technology Industry Network was held on the first floor of the BizConnect Center in Cheongju SB Plaza (194-25 Osong Life 1-ro).

The technology industry network was designed to solve technical difficulties of medical device companies and bio companies located in Cheongju, Sejong, and Cheonan and to enhance the technology commercialization capabilities of companies by linking R&D funds.

The technology industry network consists of four participating organizations, including the Korea Medical Device Industry Cooperative Association, the Korea Bio Association, Chungbuk Techno Park, and Chungbuk Industrial Convergence Headquarters.

The Technology Industry Network plans to run a technology advancement package program that identifies technology difficulties of companies recommended by participating organizations, matches customized public technologies (patents), and links business model advancement and R&D projects.

The technology industry network has been delayed due to COVID-19, but meetings will be held once a month, starting with the first meeting.

Shim Shim-sik, CEO of SWP, who is in charge of operating the technology industry network, said, "We will do our best to become a network that contributes to the success of technology commercialization by solving the technical difficulties of medical devices and bio companies in the science belt."
