SYP is coordinating a series of Proof of Concept (PoC) business matching sessions in Montreal, Canada, to accelerate North American market expansion for promising Korean startups.

The initiative is jointly supported by the Québec Government Office in Seoul (Délégation du Québec à Séoul, DQS), the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (DCCEI), SYP, and the Association d'affaires Québec-Corée (AAQC/QKBA).

Through this program, SYP is leading the delegation of three selected Korean technology startups to Montreal, arranging targeted 1-on-1 private business meetings and PoC collaboration sessions with local enterprises, research partners, and investors. Dr. Shayan F. Lahiji, Director at SYP, is heading the operational initiative.

Moving forward, SYP plans to leverage its institutional cooperation with DCCEI and local Québec economic networks to help Korean tech startups secure validated global references and achieve sustainable cross-border commercialization milestones in North America.
