SYP said it participated in the "2024 HealthTEC.SG" event in Singapore with nine domestic ultra-gap bio startups.

HealthTEC.SG is a technology consortium hosted by Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). It aims to promote partnerships between academia, industry, and medical institutions to develop a health technology ecosystem that innovates health and well-being with a focus on software and hardware-based health technologies.

To this end, SYP, the super-gap startup 1000+ project (DIPS 1000+) investment attraction organization, ran the event with Singapore-based Accelerator Venture Blick.

The five-day event from July 22 to 26 consisted of △ workshops on healthcare systems and regulations in Singapore △ symposium on AI and precision diagnosis technology △ Demoday △ strategic networking with government agencies, hospitals, manufacturers, design houses, and investors.

The Demo Day event (Unboxing Day), which took place on the 26th, was joined by 60 people, including local bio startups, investors, hospitals and officials, and collaborative agencies, along with venture Blick Chris Lee, CEO, and HealthTEC SG general director Ali Asgar Bhagat.

There are nine ultra-gap start-ups that participated in this event, including △Dyphi △ BeamWorks △ AIRS inc.) △ GradeHealth Chain △ Smartooth Korea △ YouthBioGlobal △ Humosis △ S-Alpha Therapeutics.

SYP CEO Shim Kyung-shik said, "We are actively supporting effective networks and expanding investment attraction channels for scale-up and investment attraction of ultra-gap bio companies. As ultra-gap companies have already been confirmed to have sufficient technology and capabilities, we look forward to global growth of ultra-gap companies through upcoming programs along with this event."
