Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the R&D Special Zone Promotion Headquarters, the first Small and Medium Zone Innovation Growth IR Competition was held at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) International Cooperation.
At this event, 23 out of 120 companies advanced to the finals through regional preliminaries for the special zone, and each company prepared for the competition by providing mentoring for two weeks with large and medium-sized companies related to their business fields, checking market competitiveness and supplementing their funding strategies. In particular, a number of large and medium-sized companies, including Signite Partners (Shinsegae CVC), participated in the entire competition from consulting to evaluation, focusing on establishing sustainable business cooperation between large and medium-sized companies and innovative small and medium-sized companies.
Meanwhile, SYP, along with Magna Investment, signed an investment agreement worth 1.1 billion won to Jaein R&P, a company that develops natural product-based anticancer drugs and anticancer supplements by transferring patented technology related to Kyung Hee University's Natural Product Anti-cancer New Drug Candidate.
