On June 12, 2024, the 'Korea-EU Global Innovation Forum' was held successfully at SYP headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

This forum is designed to share startup ecosystems and investment trends in Europe and Korea, and to explore cooperation opportunities through networking.

The forum was held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 25 selected companies attended.

The forum was largely divided into two parts. The first session was about the startup eco-system. Berlin Partners and Asia Berlin presented the startup eco-system in Berlin and the current status of support for Korean companies, followed by Invest Seoul's explanation of Korea's global startup investment and eco-system.

The second session was about European investment trends. The MedTech Fund shared European bio-healthcare investment trends and know-how in attracting investments in Europe, while LEANOX announced European green and AI deep tech investments. In addition, Start2Group introduced success stories of successful PoC in Germany by Asian companies.

This forum was an important opportunity to enhance the understanding of the startup and investment ecosystem between Korea and the EU and lay the foundation for mutual cooperation. It was a valuable time for the participating companies to share various information and discuss the possibility of future cooperation.
