SYP to successfully close Singapore IR for super-gap start-up

Accelerator SYP announced on June 21 that it successfully completed the "2024 Super Gap Startup 1000+ Relay IR @ Singapore" event held in Singapore from the 18th to the 20th of this month.


The ultra-gap startup 1000+ project is overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and is dedicated by the Korea Start-up Promotion Agency. In order to intensively foster promising start-ups in 10 major technology fields including AI and big data, it supports commercialization, R&D, open innovation, investment attraction, and policy funds.


SYP has been selected as the organization responsible for "investment attraction" in four technology fields, including AI and big data, bio and health, eco-friendly and energy, and next-generation nuclear power plants, starting in 2024.


The detailed program of this event consists of △Singapore customized IR deck advancement pre-mentering △Workshop △Visit local institution △Demo Day, etc., with the aim of promoting ultra-gap startups entering the Singapore market and attracting investment.


In particular, at the workshop, Chung Se-yoon, director of Awesome Ventures, conducted the "Singapore Investment Attraction Strategy," and Lee Joon-won, managing director of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), lectured on the "Singapore IPO Strategy." Dr. Kim Young-mi of DIVA Consulting delivered the secret to understanding Singapore's culture and business communication through the "Inter-cultural Workshop."


As a visit to local institutions, he visited NTUitive, a research institute at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and conducted a case study through examples of Singapore's Deep Tech technology companies in areas close to ultra-gap companies.


At the Demo Day event held on the 20th, officials from about 25 local investment institutions in Singapore, including △KK Fund △ Cento Ventures, △Altara Ventures, △Golden Equator Capital, △Fao Partners, △Acent Stage Ventures, and △Next Stage Ventures, as well as △K Startup Center, △D.Camp, were present.
