OCSC (https://www.ocstartupcouncil.org) is a non-profit organization focused on fostering the development of the local startup ecosystem and connecting innovative entrepreneurs, investors, and technology experts. By facilitating collaboration among its members, OCSC serves as a platform to support the growth of regional and global startups. This membership is expected to mark a new milestone for SYP in bridging Korea and the U.S. in technology commercialization and global startup support.
As the operator of the TIPS and Scale-Up TIPS programs supported by the Korean government, SYP plans to leverage its extensive experience to further enhance technology transfer, commercialization, and startup development between Korea and the U.S.
Sungwook Hong, CEO of SYP, stated, "Through this OCSC membership, SYP will play a significant role in the Orange County startup ecosystem. We aim to explore various collaborative opportunities to help Korea's outstanding public technologies and startups successfully enter the U.S. market."
