On October 6, the INNOPOLIS Foundation Daedeok Headquarters, Gimhae Innopolis (Inje University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation), and specialized commercialization operator SYP held an 'Open Innovation Meeting' with six Innopolis-backed bio startups at Otsuka Pharmaceutical's headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo.

This initiative served as a direct follow-up to the joint open innovation program held in Daedeok last July. Six companies—Wellentech, CUePEAKBio, MEDINO, Target Link Therapeutics, REWALK, and OPILEX—presented their proprietary technologies to Otsuka Pharmaceutical's Business Development (BD) and Open Innovation teams to explore practical business synergies:

• Wellentech: Expanded discussions into joint research regarding efficacy analysis by linking its wearable sweat-sensing patch with Otsuka's beverage line.

• CUePEAKBio: Explored cooperation avenues with Otsuka's functional materials and nutrition divisions.

• MEDINO & Target Link Therapeutics: Discussed co-development and licensing opportunities for central nervous system (CNS) stem cell therapeutics and Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) platforms.

• REWALK & OPILEX: Discussed market entry and distribution partnerships for rehabilitation care devices and quasi-drugs in Japan.
